Model XB2845-D Square Automatic DaVinci Kiln with a Multi-Program Three-Zoned DynaTrol control. Floor-standing control panel. Sectional and modular construction allows future expansion aided by the unique adjustable spring-loaded counterbalanced welded and powder-coated hinge system. The stand is made of formed galvannealed steel. Sides are made of specially machined arched bricks for strength. Kiln comes with hard ceramic element holders, thermocouple protection tubes, and solid peephole plugs. 26-1/2" Wide x 26-1/2" Deep x 45" High (19.5 cubic feet). Extra power elements for faster heat up. 3" K23 brick. Direct power connection. Three thermocouples. No charge for 3-phase versions. C-MET-us is listed in the USA & Canada. Cone 10 all voltages.

Genesis Touch Screen Control
Automatic Zone Control
EVEN FIRING. MAKES LOADING MORE FLEXIBLE. ADJUSTS FOR ELEMENT AGING. No need to pay extra for this important feature! Zone control on an electric kiln gives you the utmost controllable temperature uniformity. The kiln control separately measures temperatures in the bottom, middle, and top of the ceramic kiln and automatically adjusts the heat output of three kiln zones during the entire glaze or bisque firing.
Industrial Wiring (DaVinci & Easy-Load)
PROFESSIONAL AND CLEAN LAYOUT. DaVinci Panels are wired to industrial standards with a good clean wire layout.
Floor-Standing Panel Away from Kiln (DaVinci)
ALLOWS THE SECTIONS TO PLUG IN WHILE SEPARATE FROM THE KILN. The control panel is mounted on a stand away from the kiln.
Mercury Free Contactors
HEAVY-DUTY. Power Relays are mercury-free to comply with increasing regulations and concerns about mercury. Solid State Contactors are available as an option on most L&L Kilns.
On-Off Switch and Panel Fuse
WHY WOULDN'T YOU HAVE AN ON-OFF SWITCH? All L&L Kilns come with an on-off switch and panel-mounted control fuse. We do not rely on kiln control to keep the kiln off.

Durability

Protected Thermocouples
KEEP YOUR WORK CLEAN. Ceramic protection tubes protect the end of the thermocouple. Keeps the oxide dust from the thermocouple tip from getting into the kiln while firing.
Heavy-Duty Type K Thermocouples
HEAVY-DUTY. Thick 8 gauge thermocouples last a long time. Special Limit of Error to ANSI MC96.1 specifications is used.
Hard Ceramic Element Holders Make L&L Kilns More Durable
NO PINS TO REPLACE AND DAMAGE YOUR FIREBRICK! Durability, Repairability, Better Heat Transfer. The smooth, hard surface of the inside ceramic channel allows the elements to expand and contract freely. The dense ceramic holders extend element life because they do not insulate the hot elements from the kiln interior.
Strong Arched Sides with Extra Airspace (DaVinci)
EXTRA SPACE GIVES YOUR WORK BREATHING ROOM. Arched sides on DaVinci kilns are very strong and promote good air circulation
Steel Frame Supports Lid (DaVinci)

Welded heavy-duty stand supports heavy loads. Alumized top sheet reflects heat.
Molded Ceramic Element Connections
NO CRIMPING! EASY TO CHANGE. Industrial-grade ceramic terminal blocks make changing elements easy. All contact between elements and wire lugs is over a wide surface of heavily torqued stainless steel washers. Wires are not crimped to element ends as in some other brands. This means you can change elements yourself without buying an expensive tool or hiring a kiln repair person.
Solid Wide-View Peephole Plugs
STOP BREAKING PEEPHOLE PLUGS. Solid large non-tapered peepholes allow a wider view into the kiln. The peephole plugs are made from solid ceramic and are not as fragile as hollow-type plugs used on competitors' kilns.

Pyrocil thermocouples are sensitive but limited to about 2200°F but offer greater sensitivity to temperature change and so may be appropriate in applications below 2200°F that require sensitivity. NOTE: Price of upgrade is per each thermocouple.

Solid State Relays
Solid State Relays are quiet and result in longer element life because the switching time is so fast the elements don’t heat and cool as much the way the will with regular mechanical contactors. The whole system includes heat sinks, special fast acting fuses, cooling fan and extra safety relays.
Electronic High Limit Back Up Control
Electronic High Limit Back Up Control acts as an upper limit back up to the main control. Back up contactors are also available.
DynaTrol Keypad Control
Traditional 24-button Keypad control. This control can be substituted for any Genesis full-sized control.
