ROBUST ELEMENT SYSTEM

• Ceramic Element Holders: These protect the firebrick lining and elements - critical for long-term durability
• Heavy-Duty Elements: 13 or 14 gauge elements are evenly spaced on sides, back and door. (Note: it is critical to have elements on the door to achieve good uniformity in a front-loading kiln)

INSULATION SYSTEM

• Multi-layered insulation: 2-1/2" of firebrick plus 2" of backup mineral wool on sides, back, door and top. Kiln is relatively cool to touch (an important safety issue in a classroom)
• Solid 5" of firebrick on bottom: Solid support for heavy loads
• Flat "Dutch" Arch Roof Construction: Arched construction prevents collapsed roofs in a 24” wide span
