Panel Stands Off Kiln with Plug-In Sections

The unique control panel on the Jupiter kiln series is a stand alone unit. Each kiln section has a 20 amp cord that plugs into receptacle in the panel.

Advantages

• This design allows you to unplug kiln sections so you can raise or lower the kiln to meet various needs.
• The control panel is extremely easy to remove for servicing by the factory. (See this about factory service)
• This allows the control box to be mounted off the kiln. Normally this is just a few inches away so that there is a significant air space between the panel and the kiln whcih keeps the panel cool. In addition it is possible to mount the panel on a floor stand so that the kiln is completely independent form the kiln. This is what we do on our Pull-Apart kilns.
