Description
Two 9” high sections stack on top of each other. The hinge and element connection box hold the entire kiln together as an integrated unit. The kiln is very easy to assemble and disassemble. The kiln sections plug into the separate control panel. More about sectional construction...
Stainless steel wrapped around shaped firebrick. There are three adjustable clamps welded to each casing. All assembly is with stainless steel screws. The kiln sections sit on a separate stand.
Simple strong hinge with chain for door support
Heavy-duty 14 gauge full solid stand with multiple bends for strength. Legs bolt on with heavy 1/4-20 stainless bolts. The metal is aluminized for good corrosion resistance.
A proprietary brick coating is applied to all interior surfaces of the kiln. This is put on before the element holders are inserted. This coating penetrates the firebrick and fuses the surface on a microscopic level which helps prevent dusting and crumbling of the fragile firebrick.
Solid ceramic peephole plugs with full 1” diameter. Two total: one per section.

Control Specifications
Cone Sitter/Timer for simple control
Two control zones with two separate thermocouples. More about zone control.
No thermocouples unless included with a pyrometer system
Mounted on panel
All controls and components are mounted in a separate control panel that is mounted to the element connection boxes with an air space in between. The control panel is hinged for easy access and maintenance. Each kiln section plugs into the control box. Control box can be easily removed for servicing. On/off switch and control fuse are included. More about Jupiter plug-in control panel.
Control box cover is hinged for easy access to inside of control box. Entire control box is removable.
