OPTIONAL "PULL APART" KILN

• A few minor design changes make the Jupiter kilns easy to dismantle and reassemble to solve unusual loading problems such as firing high sculptures.
  
  
• This is a no cost option available on all Jupiter models. The same thing can be done for DaVinci kiln
  
  
• This option includes the following:
  
  
• • There is NO hinge.
    
    
  • The top and each section include FOUR HANDLES which make lifting easy for TWO people.
    
    
  • The control panel is mounted on a floor stand.
    
    
  • The kiln sections easily plug into the panel. The cords are approximately 45" long. Thermocouple lead wires are lengthened to match length of section jumper cords.
    
    
• Some people want a hinge in ADDITION to this configuration. This is because they plan to use the kiln normally as a regular pottery kiln most of the time but then want to have the "Pull-Apart" feature when the do sculture. There is an additional cost to add a hinge. For the J1800 kilns you can use the standard hinge at an extra cost of $100. For the J2300 and J2900 kilns the cost is $125 for the hinge. Keep in mind that for the J2300 and J2900 series you will need to unscrew the hinge to remove it (because it spans three sections)
