The Vent-Sure kiln vent system is listed for use with all Jupiter, Easy-Fire and DaVinci kilns.
Our listing number is 789C with a UL file number E26330.
Our products are listed under the USL standard for Miscellaneous Appliances and under the CNL for Canadian Standard C22.2, 122-MI1989 and 88-1958.

WHY ARE SOME KILNS NOT UL LISTED?
Every series of kilns needs to be separately tested by UL to be listed. This is a very time-consuming and expensive process and it is not always economically justified. We design all kilns to National Electrical Code and UL499 standards.
IS UL LISTING REQUIRED?
The ultimate authority for this is a local authority such as a local code official. Usually it is not a requirement but this does vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. If you are planning to buy a kiln that is not UL listed, especially an expensive and hard-to-ship front-loading kiln you should check with your local code insector to be certain.
