The Genesis glass kiln meets the needs of serious glass artists who need a large-format glass fusing kiln. It is ideal for home studio use because it can bea easily disassembled and moved through doorways as small as 34”. Yet this is a sturdy full-featured professional-grade glass kiln with all the features that the best artists demand. L&L’s unique hard smooth ceramic element holders prevent the insulation dusting of some other holder systems. Complete easy-to-follow visual instructions make this kiln ideal for the beginner yet powerful enough for experienced users.

Major Features

• CERAMIC ELEMENT HOLDERS PREVENT DUSTING: Ceramic element holders prevent the dusting typically found when elements are pinned into firebrick tops. THIS IS A UNIQUE FEATURE perfected by L&L Kilns. All elements are in the top.
  
  
• SPRING-LOADED COUNTERBALANCED LID: Unique design allows lid to “park” at 45 Degree angle for easy glass manipulation. The chamber opens easily from either side.
  
  
• DESIGNED TO SET UP IN A HOME STUDIO: The entire kiln comes apart and can be moved though a 30” wide door (except for Model TP7450-15 which has a fully welded heavy-duty base suitable for commercial use only).
  
  
• BARTLETT DIGITAL PROGRAM CONTROL: Bartlett Glass Controller includes 6 programs. Each program has 8 segments.
  
  
• HEATS UP TO 1700°F (925°C)
  
  
• FAST FIRING: A Model T4830 (30”x 48” x 13”H) fires to 1500°F (815°C) in just 45 minutes.
  
  
• USE ON 50 AMP CIRCUIT: Two smaller models plug into a 50 Amp 240 Volt Circuit.
  
  
• NON-RCF FIBER INSULATION ON TOP AND SIDES: 2” of highly insulating safe non-RCF fiber insulation.
  
  
• lNCLUDES A 1-1/2” HIGH-TEMP GLASS VIEWING WINDOW
  
  
• POSITIVE ACTION SAFETY SWITCH: Power to elements shuts off when the lid is opened and is resumed when the lid is closed.
  
  
• SAFETY BACKUP CONTACTOR: A completely redundant power contactor is placed in series with the main power contactor. This shuts off power in the event of an error code or high limit alarm from the control.
  
  
• COOLING VENTS IN LID: Enhance cooldown.
